I don't know off hand, but in all likelihood the 15" are going to be too small.

But as I said, I am not sure.

They might. Standard rim on the LX is 16" right? Minus 1 sizing for winter means a 15" rim. Do you have to have TPMS sensors on the winter rims? What happens if you don't?

Just be careful about 15" vs 16" rims.

On my 05 coupe V6-6 speed, I've been told that 15" wheels won't clear the calipers of the front brakes!

Don't know about the 8th gen though...but just make sure they fit!

7th gens would allow a 15" to fit fine - as long as you were on the EX and LX categories. MY understanding is that the Accord V6 6MT's, along with the same counterpart in the Acura TL line, had issues with anything smaller than 16" wheels. Now, I don't know offhand whether the entire Accord line for '08 got larger front brakes, but since they don't even OFFER a 15" wheel on any trim line for the 08's, you'd have to do a test-fit on the front with a 15" wheel to be sure....

The TPMS light will just be on...no biggie..looking at some 16s off a Mazda 6 for about 600

I went (-1) on my 07 Accord SE - bought 15" Sport Edition rims from Tire Rack on closeout. If you go to their website they have interactive stuff that should walk you through the fitment in the winter tires section.

I know the 15"s off my 6th Gen will not fit my 8th Gen.... Already tried...:thumbsdow, not enough caliper clearance. I was planning to install these tires on my Gen 8 17"s..http://marktg.toyotires.com/file/27616.pdf ... but now I'm planning on driving the 6th Gen in the winter. I still will need a new set of winter tires and will probably go with Green Diamonds again.

I1:)

LOL at winter tires......sorry guys. I live in Saytown Texas and that is just funny to me. :dunno:

Seems like alot of trouble to go thru every year......seeing that I dont have to deal with that issue.

The 17s the car came with look good but in the snow they are as useless as tits on a bull plus steel wheels are cheaper to replace when you hit a curb.

I wouldn't go 15". Thats way too small. I'd say 16" would be the smallest size that would clear the calipers... in general -1" over stock would be what you would want... haven't tried any of this myself though.

To bad 15s don't fit easier and cheaper to find and buy but oh well have couple of leads on some 16s.

Ahhhh Just use the factory rims for winter and upgrade your wheels with a summer package, much better method IMO..

you all have bad winters i assume...it just gets rainy here. but most of the time dry and cold...not too bad for aftermarket or chrome wheels...or aftermarket tires
