I know this sounds lame, but I don't have the cash to buy nice wheels for my ride. The standard wheel covers are ok, but one is a little messed up after an unfortunate curb kiss. I can buy a single OEM cover, but was wondering if anyone had put on decent looking aftermarket covers.
I looked around and the ones I found looked worse than the OEM's.
Thanks!
Maybe one day I'll pop for some decent wheels, but I'm a student now and can't justify the expense right now.

Aw, come on. SOMEONE should have thought to replace the wheel covers by now, no?
I'd love to throw some wheels on it, but in the short term, I'm looking for a cheaper solution. Anyone have pics of non-oem wheel covers on their car?

Have you checked out some ebay vendors? I know there are some floating about with custom wheel covers for the accords.
I did and wasn't all that impressed. It seems like most wheel cover manufacturers think that folks like me want fake chrome. I don't. Why would I want to draw attention to the fact that my car has covers?
Also, I find it a little unnerving that the tirerack.com website warns that some covers won't fit properly....
Still, if anyone out there has swapped out the OEM covers with aftermarket, I'd love to see a pic/get some info. I have to replace one cover because it got messed up, which is an opportunity to change up the look instead of simply replacing it....

Oh..do they show you the measurements on tirerack.com? I'm curious now..^^
No. The tirerack site doesn't. As a matter of fact, it says:
"Wheel covers are sold online only as part of a Winter Tire & Wheel Package."
So, in other words, buy winter tires and wheels.
LAME!
I found this on the web: http://www.wheelcovercity.com/index.php?pr=15_Inch_Hubcaps_Silver_Page_1
But I'm not sure how they would look...

I'd stick with OEM. Not really any point in looking for anything else. A unique wheel cover is still a wheel cover

The OEM wheels covers are actually wayyyyyyyyyyyy higher quality then any aftermarket cover I have ever seen. Just get the single replacement and draw the attention away from the wheels with a nice wax job.

Good point.
I was hoping someone could post some pics of aftermarket covers though...
For now, I'll probably just replace the one with OEM....

Not sure the chromed plastic will look good. Plus with those gaps, won't the cruddy looking black steel wheels show through too much?
Anyone have a pic of these on an LX?
I doubt you will find better than OEM. Maybe a pull a part yard would have them off a newer Accord.

The gaps in mine work fine if you paint the wheels black every once an in a while. Since I only use mine for winter, I paint them every year after taking them off in the spring. I have seen them let go and the wheels usually rust behind the caps at the gaps. Paint is cheap with a little time to take the caps off and go at it.
