I've yet to see a Honda that doesn't have a center lift point, both front and rear of the care. They are not covered by any under body panels. You may need a fairly long jack to reach it, my floor jack is about 30" long and I'm able to hit most any jack point under the car.

I've not personally needed to jack up the new Accord so I can't say with 100% certainty but I'd be very surprised if there isn't a jack point.

2018 Accord Jack Points

Does anyone know the best jack points to lift a 2018 Accord with a floor jack?
I want to change over my winter tires to my summer tires soon.
I checked the owners manual but it only has instructions for lifting the car by the pinch welds with the scissor jack.

This is from the PDI for the accord - i saved a screen shot (don't have the full doc, but it is in this forum somewhere).

There is a video of a guy doing an oil change at 1:54 into the video you can clearly see what looks like a plastic shield covering the area where the front center jacking point is. The cover is probably held in place by several screws, how can you lift the car to get to all the screws without using the front center jack point?

Often times the jack point will protrude away from the plastic shield. If it doesn't, which, I've yet to see a car not, then just jack the car from the side jack points and raise the car to get under it.

I ended up just putting my floor jack on the pinch welds with a thick rubber cushion and changing the tires one at a time. I don't think my floor jack can reach the center jacking points in the front (behind the front wheels is like 3 feet deep...)...I couldn't even see them in the dark.

Lifting point for floor jack

I was going to rotate tires on my 2018 EX-L and wanted to know if anyone has figured out the optimum points both at front and back to use a hydraulic floor jack?
Thanks in advance.

Um, try scrolling up.
Thanks Captain Obvious! :wink
I originally posted my question in another thread and the moderator moved it here.

By the way, the rear point is easy to locate and work with. The one in the front is too far back for my three & a half Ton floor jack to get to, more so as the front of the car is so low. I was able to rotate tires a couple of day ago, the stealer (dealer) wanted $30 for it :0

Um, try scrolling up.
There's a hole for the front Jack point. You
Do you have a really low profile floor jack? Mine wouldn't make it to the front point for the jack.

^When there are FIVE threads started called "Floor jack lift points?" the moderators will merge them, or you will get the dreaded:

I saw a lot of 9th gen members get frustrated with how many redundant threads there are about jack points with none of them encompassing all the info. We are trying to avoid that in the 10th Gen forum. Repeat threads may get merged, closed with a re-direct link, or simply closed and asked to search first.

Are you lowered or stock height? What is the minimum height on your existing floor jack?

"You"... What?

Boy...the wheels alone make the Accord. Without them, the car borders on...unsightly. ;)

I have a floor jack, ramps, and stands and I'm considering a QuickJack BL-5000, but I can buy a lot of oil changes and tire rotations for $1,500!

Oil changes on my Ridgeline are easy - I can drain the oil and change the filter with it sitting on the ground. The lift points are easy to access for tire rotations.
