Hello All,
I will preface this by stating that I was ignorant of the tilt function on my Accord and I’ve owned it for almost a year. Anyways… I open moonroof very often and it always works perfectly. I became aware of the tilt function and tried it, and it absolutely will not work. No matter what I do it will not tilt up, but the moonroof functions fine. I’ve tapped the switch forward, held the switch forward, etc. and it just won’t tilt up. Anyone know what’s going on?

Pushing the switch forward (towards the front of the car) closes the moonroof. If you want to utilize the tilt function, you push the moonroof switch (leave the switch in the home position- but press it towards the ceiling). That should activate the tilt function- assuming that the moonroof was closed when you attempt it. Here's the page from your owners manual that describes how the different operations work:
