Hello:

I'm working on a 2001 honda accord.
Over the weekend, I removed my rack and pinion. While I was working on it, I broke/cut rusted catalytic converter bolts/nuts. I hammer one of the leftovers but it did not bulge.

Are they treat in or pressed in? Any suggestion on how to remove it?

There were no gaskets. Do I need one?

If it's the same as my 1998 Accord LX was, they are "press in," with threads on the end, of course.
