I thought I would post my review of the 2007 Accord for those that are current owners of a07 accord since I dont see that many personal reviews on here. Please excuse any typos due to my time frame in typing this..thx.

Exterior: I actually prefer the 2007 exterior over the 03 and 08. Being a previous owner of an 03 accord that gave me numerous problems, and I agree with the professional reviewers about that 03 tail end that looked as though someone chopped it off. Although mines had a lip spoiler which gave it balance. The 07 Revised rear end is a perfect balance so sporty without being too overstated. The LEDs at night really stands out and the front end DRLs are a much deserved upgrade and makes the car look more expensive driving down the road and safe.

Interior: The interior is classy and upscale. I have tan interior and I think the woodgrain is a nice touch in contrast with the Peanut Butter leather. I have two nephews and both are in car seats. After a couple of trips, the leather has proven to be resistant to tears and scratches on the back seat and still looks new from the factory. The gauges are very legible but is too bright at night on the eyes and can cause a distraction while driving but this can easily be adjusted by the dim switch. I have put 8000 miles so far and the car is still rattle free, but its still too early in the game for long term expectations. The suspension is fairly stable with minimal body lean which is to be expected for a stream line family mid size sedan.

Engine: The engine is very powerful for a FWD car. Passing is effortless and the car could easily hit a 100 without breaking a sweat. Unfortunately, the tires dont live up to the suspension and will be seeing a replacement soon. I have been on one road trip so far with two adults and two kids and the car still moves with no problems Merging into traffic is a breeze and there is no strain when passing an 18 wheeler. Overall the its a great engine for 244hp.

Brakes: The brakes may take some time getting use to first hand. They are very grabby and sensitive. Sometimes the car almost thinks you are having an accident and applies extra pressure but this has saved my life and my car from being in a head on collision with some A hole that decided to cut me off at the last minute. I hit the brakes instantly with firm pressure and the car came to a halt within 5seconds from 50mph. No smoke and no collisions. That earns a A+ in my book

Noise: The car is not as quiet as my mother's Camry but than again its not suppose to be. This is a Honda Accord. The two are like night and day. One is sporty and one is luxury. Thats all there is to it.

This is my conclusion, overall the car is a dependable, and sporty machine. Way to go Honda!!

Nice review. I had an 03 as well and it put me on a first name basis with just about everyone in the service department :D:D. It looks like the 8th gen is off to a better start than our 03's. I think the upgrade was just right with the drl's and the vents in the front bumper cover, not to mention the led tailamps and the slick instrument cluster. The biggest thing that I noticed ride and handling wise was that it seemed like the roll bars were stiffer and the shocks were a little softer. The steering is a little heavier too. I always thought the ride in the 03's was a little rough for a family car.

I agree, nice review. Perhaps the hardest thing to evaluate during a test drive is seat comfort. How has that been for you?

I hope to have reliability info on the 2008 Accord in February. The 2006 Civic was spotty the first few months, but cars produced later in the model year and 2007 have been much better. I suspect that same was true back in 2003 with the Accord. Even now the repair rate on the 2003 is quite a bit higher than for more recent years.

Thanks for the comments..:) The seat comfort is actually pretty great. The multi power adjustment really helps out considering that I am almost 7ft! lol

I'm impressed that you fit in the car. I'm 5-9, probably about the average for adults these days, so just about every car seems tailor made for me.

Dont write the tires off so fast.

We have a 05 EX Sedan 4 banger 5AT. It will break a 100 and not think twice about it and still get great mpg.

Back to the tires. Ours has the OEM Micky LLR tires on it still. Its at 60k miles and it still has another 10k miles left on the tires. They will balk a bit then dig right in. I can corner our car hard enough to make it carry the inside rear wheel. The body will roll over. BUT the tires will dig!

Our EX is cloth. And its shown to be kid safe. I have 5 grandchildren. Four of them have done car seat duty in the Accord. The car has two car seats in it at all times. I scatch guard the cloth once a year. And the wife uses car seat foam rolls under the seats. And we set the car seats very tight. No tearing or stretching at all in the martial! And scotch guard has protected the seats wonderfully!

You own a car IMHO that has the best dash and control lay out Ive ever seen in a car. lay out, function and useablity better than anything Ive ever seen. Tactile feel and function only bested by Rolls and Bently. IMO a 7th gen Accord dash should be displayed in modern art and industrial art museum's.

Im glad you like your 7th gen. Cause the 8th gen is a let sown to alot of the Honda fateful. I bet god has no idea what TL and TSX will become.
