Not Much ! A lot of miles & most likely an oil burner. Major parts replacement coming up probably like starter, alternator, water pump, ignition switch, struts, etc. Figure in tires and if it is an automatic had the transmission fluid been changed on a regular basis (verifiable records). Take it to an independent mechanic (ASE certified) for an inspection, but I would pass and look for a lower mileage one. What Should I pay for a 2008 Honda Accord with 250 thousand miles on it ?

There's nothing more you can do besides what Ash said, except pay a reliable shop at $95 per hour to go through it.That is incredibly vague.
What's the current condition? Has it ever been damaged or in an accident? How extensive is the service history? Is it in need of anything currently at the moment? How's the cosmetic condition? What trim level, engine, and features does it have? The value even varies by location.
KBB and Edmunds are some good sources for pricing vehicles.
Thank you ,I only have so much money. I'm retired and on Disability. I don't drive much but I think you are Absolutely right. I'm doing this on my own. I Appreciate your insight. Contact your area senior services, many places have volunteer's that can help with providing ride services. They may also be able to help you find a used car, some churches may also offer this service where a church member donates a car & they pay someone to fix any problems before donating it to you.Thank you ,I only have so much money. Agree but, if you find one with a clean interior and body, to me, they are worth replacing the parts, and get another 250 thousand out of it, the only kind I wouldn't consider is one that's knocking, Honda and Toyota are for sure the easiest cars to work on. The price for a 250 thousand mile car and one with a lot less, is liable to be a huge difference, but like you say it depends on the condition, and the price, my wife's 07 is still under 200 thousand, and I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere, first Honda we've owned, and I'm very impressed, won't be going back to any of the big 3.Not Much ! They are always moving very fast, sometimes with very little information. Be patient, don't rush. It's really nice that you asked for information here, but @KW2004Accord is right.Thank you ,I only have so much money. I'm retired and on Disability.
