Came across a deal I could not refuse on a set of 18" wheels and Michelin tires (235/45/18) that were take-offs at 3500mi. I wasn't 110% sure if they would be a "forever" wheel, but I think they look damn sexy!:banana:

looks nice, but those tail lights are pure rice
They are black LED tails, which don't look rice to me at all, but the previous owner installed them.. :dunno:

Are those stick on vent visors in your picture?

Did you have to make any modifactions to the wheels to make them fit? I have an '07 LX 4cyl sedan and found a deal just like you did. I want to pick them up just want to be prepared for all of the issues that may come along first. Any notes would be helpful.

Zero modification. The hub bore matched perfectly, and the 5 114.3 is what gen7 accords have. Check your stock tire size vs the ones on those rims to know how accurate your speedometer will be. Factory offset is +55.

Nice - CS the wheels too...Good job painting the calipers and those wheels open up the brake look quite a bit, and when rolling, the crude stock caliper is VERY visible...
Two coats of CS before installation, thanks again for the quick response the other day! I want to keep them perfect.

Have you noticed any effects on MPG since the switch? What's this CS that was mentioned?
I have only put about 1 mile on the car since installation, so I will no have MPG info just yet. I am hoping for not much of an effect, however when I went from 17 to 20s on my expedition (tow vehicle) I went from bad to worse... Noticably so. Ben: (DreaminAccord) may speak more to this, as he went from Oem 17s to Oem 18s.. Any feedback, Ben?

Also, CS= Crystal Seal made by Blackfire. More here:

Those are great wheels. Love them on my 8th gen and they look great on your 7th
Thanks! Where in CT are you located? It'd be nice to get some DA members together for some cruises, etc.. this summer.

well then he got rice! :D
nice wheels, looks like s2000 CR wheels
You're right! I don't know much about the S2Ks, but after looking it up, the wheel is definitely quite similar!

In my setup with Eibach lowering springs and Michelin MXM4 (or something similar) highway tires on it, I have experienced zero negative effects in driving, turning, or anything. Your mileage may vary if you have different suspension setup and/or larger tires.

It also depends on your height. Given that the specs are oem and within the 7th gen accord range, stock height and even springs should fit. But if you're lower, you'd probably have to roll fenders, etc.

Agreed, there are variables.. But I am not on stock height, I have Eibach lowering springs which are much lower than stock. Not tucking fenders like your car, but far from stock height.

Pradukt: The link in my previous post will help in determining what the new setup would be in comparison to your existing one, provided you have specs of both. It allows you to measure real-time if you know that the new setup will now stick out 1.5" further, or closer to brake, etc.etc..

Let us know how it turns out!
