not bad, what kind of primer did you use to prevent chipping?

I used some new Krylon two-in-one, kinda like pert plus. Satin black with A LOT of clear coat.

I anticipate doing some touch ups... should be pretty manageable considering it was a $7 job

Not sure why Honda doesn't offer a color matched option like this, looks better IMHO

Did you scuff up the chrome with some sandpaper?

Yep, sure did. I used some real fine 300 grit which seemed to work well. So far I am pretty pleased with how it turned out...

It looks really good man, I have the majority of my chrome plasti dipped but I bought spray paint to black it out, I just haven't been able to build up the courage to paint it all.

I'm kind of curious what happens if you spray paint/clear coat on top of plasti-dip-- I wonder if it sticks and you can still peel off the plasti-dip? Haven't really done any searching yet...
