What would be a good dual exhaust for a 9th gen i4 with a CVT? Borla is nice but it just sounds horrible on a i4. I don't want something with a lot of drone or a fart can.
So far I've purchased a Takeda Intake. People are also suggesting that I get a PV6.

Will a 2016 i4 Sport dual exhaust fit a 2016 i4 EX-L? What extra/different parts do I need or are they all plug and play?

I just want a decent close-to-oem dual exhaust for my EX-L instead of a single exhaust.

Thanks.

Alright man, here is the deal, take your time, do your home work before you make the switch. I did same thing with my 15 Ex-L where i converted single exhaust to dual exhaust using OEM dual muffler (pick it up from local honda dealer) from 15 Sport/V6. For my 15 model the SPort/V6 has same parts.

Now, do your home work first, find out the B-Pipe measurement between your EX-L and Sport/V6 - In my case, my Ex-L B-pipe external diameter is 2.35 Inch where Sport/V6 are 2.25" (small). So when I made switch (you can see here my thread ) I didn't take in consideration of the pipe size so my air flow was going from 2.35" pipe to 2.25" pipe (it was chocking) where two pipe split to muffler. I was getting lot of back pressure and my gas pedal got heavy, means i have to push little hard now this may be different story for other.

Long story short, take a look above thread last post where i have before and after shot where i asked my muffler guy to put bigger pipe between my OEM (2.35") to two split er (each pipe on my dual muffler are 1.79" so basically going into 1.79x2 = 3.58").

Here is two pictures that i found from online about your single muffler 16 EX-L and 16 Sport. Even in picture the B-Pipe (#5 in single exhaust ) and #4 in dual exhaust size looks different. The Single exhaust has bigger pipe to me but double check.

I hope this info help.

I'm working on this now. I bought the sport/v6 bumper had it painted and everything. It's on the car now just trying to find exhaust tips I like. Will be doing a muffler delete. I have a shop who will do all the work for 250$ (hangers, exhaust pipes, etc.) Will post pics up when it's done

I have rv6 pcd, Injen CAI, custom dual exhaust with muffler delete, and the stock resonator. Only catalytic I kept was the one after the PCD; and that's because the car gets wayyyy too loud for comfort.

4 cylinder? How does it sound? I was interested in getting the rv6 but wasn't sure due to hearing it gets raspy. If you could video your exhaust that would be awesome and very appreciated
