I got the touring model a month ago and the auto high beams would come on this same road I drive at night which is unlit. The last few days the highbeams don't come on even when there is not other cars on the road. My question is should that green A in the dashboard always be on? Because mine never comes on anymore or does it only come on she the auto highbeams are activated ?

I don't have a Touring, but I just googled the feature and found a PDF from Honda explaining how they work. Do you have the headlights switched to the 'AUTO' position on the stalk? The auto high beams only work when the headlights are set to 'AUTO'. The 'A' symbol appears when the feature is on.

I hope this helps...

I think you probably have it disabled. From the same PDF...

To disable the system: When the vehicle is on and parked, pull the headlight lever towards you and hold it for 40 seconds. The auto high-beam indicator blinks twice.

To re-enable the system: Pull the headlight lever towards you and hold it for 30 seconds. The auto high-beam indicator blinks once.

I love this feature on my 2016 Touring. It has worked very well since I got the car last October. For some reason it stopped working a few weeks ago. I noticed the "A" was not being displayed on the dash at night. As mentioned in the previous post I was able to re-enable the system be pulling the headlight lever towards me and holding it for 30 seconds. Still have no idea how or why it became disabled.
