i installed 22mm tsx rear sway bar for about a week ago, everytimes i drove by the slow down bump the rear spring making noise like i have to replace it
does that happen to anyone with 22mm?

I thought TSX RSB is 17mm?

I don't have any upgraded RSB but first thing you need to do is check rear suspension for anything broken or loose .

Then see if noise is from a bad back shock .

Are you sure its a TSX RSB, maybe Progress 22mm or TL type S would have a bigger diameter.

did you install it backwards? LOL

no i installed it right. yes 22mm progresses nothing broked......it just make noise only when i go over those slow down bump....sound like its really heavy at the back and u when u go over bump it make noise

Are you sure it's coming from the suspension and not the infamous rear deck creaking?

What did you use to lube the Urethane bushings, these type of bushing if Urethane will squeak . I always used either good synthetic or anti seize type lube , last longest without noise .

i just use the bushing to wrap the sway bar and then i put it back on the car.....thats how i install....correct me if i do something wrong

You needed to lube the inside of the bushing with the grease that should have came with the sway other wise it will squeak. If I were you I would remove the two brackets holding the two bushings on and lube them up. Then reinstall, the noise should go away after doing that.

no i dont think so...i think im gonna try to lube it tomorrow...just unbolts the bushings right no need to take everythings out

The bushings have a slit in them, I believe all you need to do is just undo the two bolts, IIRC its a 14mm bolts, for each bushing bracket, remove the brackets, and then pull off the bushing. Lube the crap out of the inside of the bushing where it makes contact with the sway bar, reinstall, should be good to go without having to disconnect the sway bar from the end links if memory serves me correctly.

oh yea currently i still using the stock bolts will that be the problem too...the bolts came with the sway bar kinda big i have to drill the hole bigger....but the one installed for me told me it is find with the stock bolts...if those bolts are lose go back to him then he drill it for me

I didn't even try using the stock bolts, the longest part of the install for me was drilling out the bigger bolt holes since I used a crappy cordless drill with a battery that wouldn't hold a charge for more than 10 minutes. I tired my arm out doing it but got it done. If you're buddy is willing to drill them out for you, might as well take him up on it if you're going to go through the trouble of pulling off the brackets to lube the bushings...
