Just bought a OEM deck spoiler my 9th gen accord coupe and wanted to know how I could go about getting the installation instructions outside of the dealer. Can I source trunk lid schematics from anyone? I have a photo of the part number, has anyone attempted to replace their OEM factory spoiler? Any tips or installation advice would be helpful.

Is this the HFP OEM spoiler? Are you saying the spoiler didn't come with instructions? I believe there are a few detailed installation videos on youtube.

The sticker on the box is cut off but it actually said no instructions included. Not a huge deal tho, the install was pretty straight-forward aside from prying the old spoiler off, in the process I managed to cracked the high mount brake light assembly, so I had to order a new one.
For the deck lid style, it's as easy as cleaning both contact areas, applying 3M VHB tape to the underside, and firmly pressing it on there. I installed an OEM replica myself this way.
You also have the option to drill it on there, in which case I can't help, but the 3M tape is strong enough to hold in high speeds and all weather conditions.

I bought mine here from Bernardi Honda Parts. But any retailer that carries OEM Honda parts might have it in stock.

If you add this deck lid spoiler to a car that did not have one, you may need to replace the torsion bars as the non-spoiler trunk's torsion bars may not have enough twisting force to overcome the added weight of the spoiler. Look to the Sport model for part numbers if this is an issue since Sport models had the spoiler as standard equipment.
