Dear Thanks for your help. Today morning, I test your theory as VSA, ABS and brakes light were off after i start the engine. I
knocked the VSA main body several times with the wadded cloth but ligts remain off. Than I drove the car and light came on after i
drove 10KM.
Do you have any idea that what could be the possible reason?
Check by disconnecting the large connector at the ABS / VSA module and reconnecting. It has a pull latch to disengage and release. Be sure it goes back in place once seated.
Could be a wheel sensor, pull each wheel and check the sensor and it's connection, also look for damaged wire from the connector to the sensor, to make sure it is good all the way to the harness. Disconnect and reconnect the sensor connector to verify contact is good and secure.
Check ground wire at the area. It Is fairly small but noticable in Its black color and attachment to the body near the VSA module. You can remove the connection and clean both the contact at the body and at the terminal end of the wire and reconnect.
This can be done as a two person job. Some one must watch for an error at the instrument panel, while you carefully go from key locations and shake wire harness points a few times. Starting from VSA/ABS module and working your way to fuse box and then to ECU. Go slowly as you are looking to isolate the trouble spot. There may be a break, a pinched wire, or loose connection else where.
Check the engine main fuse box, there is a main fuse block that controls power to VSA / ABS module. It feeds power directly to the unit with key off. When looking at the main fuse box, the fuse in question is along the short side facing you. They are a bugger to remove without a good tool. There is an odd tab that a small thin blade driver can be wedged between along the width at the end of the fuse block. You won't be able to remove the fuse without releasing the tab.
The main fuse blocks all have a window along the sides to reveal the fuse for verification. If blown, the trace will have a break. If by chance the brake has debris from being blown, it Is possible it can make momentary contact, and once shaken intermittent power loss at the module will cause fault.
