The other day, someone on Reddit came across footage being shot of what appears to be a 2025 Odyssey:

The only official word on the 2025 Odyssey from Honda came from a press release a few months ago and offered few details besides mentioning "styling updates" and tech changes.

But by the looks of it, it seems like after receiving its mid-gen refresh for the 2021 model year, the 5th gen Odyssey will be getting a refresh again? Many were expecting to see a new 6th gen, but it's apparently not happening this year.

Unfortunately, this is the only angle we have. The only obvious change is to the rear bumper.

For comparison, this is the current Odyssey from a relatively similar angle:

Will be interesting to see what happens. If it truly is another refreshed model, probably will see it released in early August or so.

Does anyone else see faces on the fronts and backs of cars?

They gave the 2025 Odyssey some dimples!
YES, I certainly do. The front of a car-always, but the back-sometimes. Dodge tail lights look like sunglasses.

Then this thing has a creepy handlebar 'stache..... 🤮

I don't know that I see a face from the front/rear end, but I do tend to see it from the wheels.

Some cars have more cute faces than others.

The 2025 Odyssey is officially here:

Quite the mild refresh indeed.

They added a whole extra inch of touchscreen on the inside:

The rear entertainment screen is significantly bigger:

A new gauge cluster design, not sure how I feel about it yet:

Another notable change: the rear entertainment system no longer has a DVD player. It's all digital media now. I don't know how well that will go.

And finally, what I think may be the boldest change: if you want an Odyssey, leather is now mandatory. EX-L has been made the new lowest available trim.

Looks the same. It’s a nice van though.

The changes are definitely pretty subtle, though if the alternative is something designed by the same team that brought us the 11th gen Accord, maybe that's a blessing in disguise.

I really wonder how this leather-only change will go over though.

I think they’re just trying to maximize profit by eliminating the entry level trims. I don’t like it, even though I’m not really their target customer for the odyssey. It can only go on for so long. CRV and Pilot added back the LX later. They can get away with it as long as the customers keep paying for the higher trims and other manufacturers keep doing the same thing.
