Nice clean work. Did you have to strip the wires to connect to the cigarette lighter port to keep everything hidden? Or does the adapter go deep enough that you can put the cover back on after its put in?

Bought an extra socket, used these quick connects to wire the socket to the existing outlet by the shifter. then plugged in the adapter to the socket, and into the AUX port. hid everything underneath the storage area

I went slightly differently. Used a Kinivo BTC450 unit (Belkin turned me off with bright blue light) and I mounted it under and left of the left air control button as I wanted the mic to be as high as possible in the car so I don't need to lower my head when speaking.

Did you also install a ground loop isolator? You did not mention it but... no whirr/buzzing?

no ground loop isolator. now that you mention it, i guess ill use it this week and see if ill need one. havent noticed any problems but its only been a day or so
