Hi,
The 10-12 V6 has Variable Compression Management (VCM) resulting in oil burning issues, fowled plugs, and premature worn rings. There isalawsuit/settlement around this.

The 13-15 V6 is a new design "Earth Dreams" but still has VCM. Anyone know if the 13-15 have issues like the earler ones? If you haven at how many miles did the symptoms occur?

I've yet to read about the J35Y engines suffering from the VCM issues like the J35Z engines. If there are any, it's not on the same massive scale.
