2017 Accord Sport SE 4door with 144k miles. Backup camera has gotten extremely blurry and is no longer clear no matter how clean it is.

Does anyone have a good source or recommendation? Not sure if there is a better more clear aftermarket option or if factory is the best option. The part number I find says it's discontinued?

I tried an Ebay one and it was pretty crappy. I went and got one from Autozone, lifetime warranty. This was for a 2015 though.

Update. I got one off Amazon for $35 with expectations to send it back.

It turned out to be just as clear as OEM one. We'll see how long it lasts...

Look on Parts Geek, they have the Doorman for $300, I got the TRQ one for $100. Whatever camera you get, seal the plastic housing with windshield sealant.

I saw your comment, but wondered what are the steps to seal with plastic housing and where do you get windshield sealant? I am going to replace mine as well on my 2016 accord.

https://www.amazon.com/Permatex-817...targid=pla-406644581015&mcid=d60a6fdab2253b5c95d68091a1cc197c&gad_source=1&th=1 - on the housing only, be careful & don't get it on the lens / lens area (2 thin coats with 24hr. drying time in between ea. one) I didn't do mine as the mechanic was leaving town and I wanted to get it installed asap. It took the mechanic 13 min. to install on my 2017, there was no labor charge.

Thanks! I am having this issue where i bought an aftermarket head unit and the resolution is 720p and I believe the back cam is 1080p. So was going to try another one and maybe a 720p camera to see if it makes a difference.
