Called Honda today they told me that the batteries are only cover 3yrs from the day the car was manufacture!!
:furious:
Personally, I went with AutoZone's Duralast Gold since it was the least expensive compared to what was available at Pepboys, O'Reilly, and Sears.any recommendations?
Interesting. Out here on the left coast, dealer special OEM 100 month 3 year free replacement Type 35 installed runs $89.95.i thought the genuine honda battery was good for 100 months limited warranty. they replaced mine for free at the dealer but i had also bought the battery from the dealer. it may be different if that is the original battery but i would still try the warranty, maybe they will exchange or pro rate the cost of new.
Sounds like you are pretty clueless if you thought the battery would go beyond the 3 year factory warranty. How mad do you get when you have to change oil and do other maintenance with the vehicle. When you buy a new Honda battery, it will have a 100 month warranty. Other batteries have a shorter warranty. Figure out what you want and how much you want to spend, and get a new battery and stop complaining. Your tires will need to be replaced soon too, those get old too.
