Just sent my car for inspection and found out that the tires “barely passed” state inspection. So I will be needing new tires soon. The current OEM goodyear eagle’s seem to ride a little stiff at times and since my car is tuned, the extra torque makes the fronts lose grip pretty easily off the line if i give it a little gas. Looking for tires to put down the power a little better, ride better than OEM, and also all season capable. Suggestions? Also input if I should upsize to 245’s would also be appreciated.

The car only has 26.5k miles so it is disappointing that they need to be replaced so soon.

Probably stirring up the hornet's nest with this question, but I'll chime in with my 2 cents. [The stock] goodyears are shit, so you're better off getting a new set of tires. I, personally, love my continental extremecontacs (i kept OEM specs). I'm also a big fan of nexxens as a bang for your buck tire. But really, anything will be better than goodyears.

How's the ride on the continentals compared to the OEM goodyears? I saw glowing reviews on those but the only thing i'm not sure of is since they're performance tires I am not sure how much ride quality is sacrificed.

Think will be getting the Continentals most likely. The price is really good for what they are so it seems like a good option. I have no roadtrips planned with the car and only local driving so I am going to try to ride out the OEM tires a little longer though haha.

A few people went with 245-40-19 sizing to protect the rim lips a little bit too.

Did you end up getting the Continentals? I am a huge fan of the ExtremeContacts.
I did. I put on the DWS 06's in October and the car drives absolutely fantastic. Ride improved, grip improved, and it performed great in a couple inches of snow and ice as well. Way better than the OEM Goodyears that came with the car, they used to slip in the rain and were not nearly as smooth as the Contis.

I bought the Continental DSW06+ as well and was pleased. I've put about 45K miles on and they are just getting to the end of life. I rotated a few times but definitely missed a few so probably could have gotten a couple thousand more if I was better about it. I plan to buy another set of the same

Do you guys get any flat spotting in the tire after sitting all night? And after a few miles of driving it comes out.
