Suggestions please?
Ok sorry for my ignorance... what about a decent, true superwhite low beam bulb for replacement then? There are 1001 on ebay but no idea what to replace the stock ones with? I have the super bright white led's for all interior bulbs including my reverse and license plate bulbs... need some help on a good replacement low beam to match... suggestions? I hate the ones that are blue and not true white and I would rather not do the HID conversion at this time.None of the LED work in low beam because you will not see anything at night. Aftermarket LED is not like Audi A8 LED remember that.
For the low beams you should really go HID's. I put hid in low beam housing and they put all the 50 60 dollar bulbs to shame, really.
I couldnt agree with that question more...I hate the yellowish white look from the stock headlights :thumbsdow. Especially since I have LEDs for my license plate
Such a help!Check out this thread:

It talks about an H9 conversion. This may be what u need...
You can put a Mickey Mouse rebased no-quality control made in China HID kit bulb in any halogen headlight. But it's simply a shitty idea to do so. Educate yourself by reading this: HID kits are illegal and dangerous.Allot of people will disagree, people say this people say that, but you can put hid in the reflective housing. I put them in a 2007 accord with no projector light housing. Just go with the lower wattage hid's n you will be fine. They actually light up the street better than my hid's in projector on my 2010 coupe. Bright yes, blind people i think is an exaggeration. You usually get that blinding effect with the higher wattage.
The H9 won't help in your sedan. The H9 is the best and safest upgrade for the projectors in the coupe. The H9 will give more usable light than any HID kit will. It will, unlike a HID kit, maintain proper distribution of light from the projector.Such a help!
Thanks Donny!
What do I need to do to convert to the 9011 or 9012 bulbs? The H9 won't help in your sedan. The H9 is the best and safest upgrade for the projectors in the coupe. For the sedan you want the Philips 9012 for the low beam. This is a halogen bulb and, just like the H9 in the coupe, the 9012 will give more usable light (and proper distribution) in the sedan than any HID kit will.
For both cars (sedan and coupe) you can upgrade to the 9011 bulb.
Oh yeah I know, I read further into that thread where you started talking about those bulbs and the parts that need to be cut off in order to fit. I'm honestly just looking for white light that provides the same output as my stock bulbs, and I think I found them at Canadian Tire. :dunno:The H9 won't help in your sedan. Unfortunately for your argument, the dollar amount of those china hid kit is the same as less powerful regular bulbs. The light emited by hid's , if to be called offensive, would be a purely subjective opinion. Watts and different colors produce a variable that can not be judged. My fog lights with the 50 regular bulbs dont light up a thing compared to my projector hid low beam. Its like there not even there due to the hid brightness. The reason the kit in your 2007 lit up the road better is because the kit made the headlight emit light where it wasn't designed to go. It's as simple as that. The HID kit bulb changes the distribution of light, even in a halogen projector as well as halogen reflectors. Did you ever stop to wonder why these kits are illegal and why US customs is trying to catch them at the US border?
