At this price, it has to be the Navi version and you misspelled the model being EX-L, but we all understood.

The 2k rebate for 'if paid cash' is a Honda to Buyer incentive. So it is not a surprise that the price is different.

Now, if paid cash the retail price for the car is 35 310$ including freight, PDI and the other craps. I have no idea where you live so I'll assume a 15% taxes rate like we have in Quebec, this pushes the price to 40 606.50. If your OTD price includes the taxes, I say it is a good price. If they don't include taxes... well no the price is crap. And this is only valid if you live in Quebec, I invite you to calculate the total retail price according to your province's taxes.

In Canada you can also use this site: https://www.carcostcanada.com/en/

You pay 40$ for 10 different car submissions and you know exactly what is the price the dealer pays and what are the rebates currently effective in Canada.

Finally, you have to know that some rebates won't be displayed on this site because they are honda to dealer incentives when they sell "that many" cars during a month. A dealer selling with less then 3% profit on a car will often do so only if he gets something from Honda directly.

Hope this helped you a bit

Yes the price is $39000 OTD including all taxes. $37,000 if I pay cash.
Im in Toronto.
I thought I could get it for less. I really like the coupe v6 but at this price I,m thinking I should move up to an Acura or something higher end.
I'm undecided at this point.
What did you pay for your car and what do you have. Is it a V6 touring?

Thxs Freakinz. I appreciate your breakdown.
I could have sworn I saw someone post that he bought a Honda coupe v6 in BC for 36,400 OTD including taxes. THat's why I was surprised when My guy the GM of the dealership gave those prices. I have bought numerous cars from him and nobody can even touch him. To recap: he said 39,000 OTD w/taxes or 37,000 OTD if I paid cash.
Before I got off the phone he said HE MIGHT BE ABLE TO GIVE ME AN ADDITIONAL $2000 off and would get back to me. That puts me at $37,000 OTD I'm planning on putting $25,000 down payment which is why he said he would look into it.
If not I might try to find a demo to save a bit of cash.
Thxs guys.

That or retry at the end of the month, dealers gets bonuses if they sell "x many cars" during certain months.

Even more, if the car you are looking is in their lot, they won't want it to stay there too long. I did not bother doing that for mine because:
1st: My car came directly from the factory when I purchased it
2nd: I needed a car NOW because I had sold mine the day I decided it would be cool to look for a new one.

Good luck!

btw, 36 400 in BC means 36 725 in ON. Don't jealous that BC guy over 250$

:D
