I have a '13 LX. Want to upgrade the horn to something way less weak. I don't need a train horn (although it would be a lot of fun), but I want something with a much deeper tone. Suggestions?

College Hills Honda has two different horn selections to choose from. The OEM Honda horns and the Sport horns. The OEM horns are more expensive however they offer a slightly deeper tone than the Sport horns and they're OEM so they're less likely to malfunction as opposed to the aftermarket Sport horns. I bought the OEM ones for my 2014 because I like the deeper tone that they have and the fact that they're from Honda gives me a more reassuring feeling.

I have the Sports Horn from College Hills Honda. Less expensive by about $10 and are very loud. I would recommend that you use the mount bars that came the car. They are a little thicker.

is honestly not really a macho thing tbh. I mean I do ride a cherry red Honda Elite 250cc scooter that has a horn that belongs in a cartoon. Lol. I would rather have a horn that would actually cause a reaction since there are so many terrible drivers out here

Some of the Harley riders might consider that a bit "light in the loafers," not that there is anything wrong with that.

which is deeper, better sound? oem or sport?

it's my dad's scooter. just for $hits and giggles. haha

When ordering the OEM horn, do I need to buy 2? Or does it come as a pair? Thanks!

I got the sports horn from CHH. Took off the silver stickers so it doesn't show through the grille. Big difference, people actually hear it now and respond by moving out of the way, flipping the birdie, etc. The stock horn doesn't cut it.

I recommend the OEM upgrade kit from College Hills for sure. It sounds great; has OEM quality; and bolts and plugs right up just like stock. The kit takes maybe 15 minutes to install if you take your time, and I think a College Hills even has a how-to video on their website if you need it.

The College Hills OEM horns and the odyssey horns are one and the same. Here are the part numbers: 38150-STX-H02 and 38100-TK8-A01. I found that it was cheapest shipped from Honda Parts Unlimited.
