Just walked to my car a couple minutes ago and realized the Heat (99 degrees, 105 index) is causing my center arm rest to bubble. Is anyone else, especially those of you from FL, CA, GA, who live in the constant heat running with the same problem? Also, would this be covered by warranty since is not a common wear and tear?

Somebody posted a similar thread last year and the dealer replaced it for him as a warranty item.

That may have been within the first year, however.

A lot of people in the DA community say that the center armrest is not real leather but, is vinyl.

Hey mine doesn't have the center stitching on the armrest...it's one panel for the whole top....???

Maybe thats something new for the 2010... I think all the 08-09 have the stitching in the middle.

Glad thats covered by the warranty... Thank you for the info
Question is: How can we prevent this from happening again? I usually crack the windows open when we are having a very hot weather; Obviously when car is parked at a safe place

do you use one of those big reflective windshield visors? that should cut down on heat..

I have 5% all around and 50% in the windshield... I thought that was enough protection but obviously I was wrong. Ill have to get one of those reflective things or crank my windows even more.
