My 05 Honda Accord EX V-6 got 60,000 miles on the first set of tires. Second set has 16,000 and they are cupping on the inside of the tires. Alignment check a week ago indicated alignment was ok. Other causes? Suggestions? Strut problems? 76,000 miles on car.

Alignment, balance, and worn parts can cause uneven wear on tires. Have you kept them rotated?

Cupping is always cause by under inflation/or the tire might be damage. Whats the brand of the tire?

Cupping has almost nothing to do with underinflation. Check this for solid information:

It is probable that, even though it was aligned, you have worn or bent suspension components that were not discovered. Are all four cupping? Front or rear only? One side only? What brand of tires? Cheap ones can cup even if all is within specs.

Can cup with negative camber if left on without rotation for too long.

Fix? Rotate every 3-4k miles at latest.
