I was into visit the dealer on Friday and I asked them to apply the TSB fix for wind noise.

Long story short, they ended up hacking up my door sash. Its now bent and doesn't sit flush with the door.

They ordered me a new one, but before I go back and have them do further damage... does anyone have any insight into whats involved to install this?

I found some images online, but it looks like it just hooks in at the bottom... and perhaps its double sided tape? Part number is 72470-T2F-A01

The image at the end is from a different generation accord, its obvious how it clips in... doesn't look like that for the 9th gen.

I happened to find my own answer... there is an updated TSB for the wind noise. Way more involved that I wanted.... I think i'll just put some double sided tape in there and call it a day.

It is double sided tape, thats why it won't stay put now.

From what I've seen, to remove the sash you are supposed to also remove the chrome molding. Problem is, when you remove the molding it gets destroyed and has to be replaced. I guess they were trying to remove the sash, without removing the molding, and that's how it got bent. I was thinking about replacing mine with the gloss black sash from the touring models, but when I saw the price I quickly changed my mind. I might try vinyl wrapping them with gloss black.
