Getting mine replaced now. Was told they need 2 hours, so I am waiting at dealership. Hopefully, it doesn't take any longer than that. I'll report back afterwards with an update.

Well, 2.hours came and went. We're now at 4 hours and no update.

So it took about 4 hours including oil/filter and tire rotation. Slight smell of gas in car and trunk, but gone by the time I arrived at home. Everything works as expected thus far.

I had this fuel tank recall done and the local dealer said that I was the first (2020 HAH EXL). Took a full day to complete, but when I picked up the vehicle, I noticed a strong fuel smell inside the cabin. Especially strong in the rear seat area. Airing out overnight did not help. Apparently this tank replacement requires removal of the rear seats and the insulator that separates the cushion and the fuel pump became soaked with fuel when they reassembled everything. Took it back to the dealer and they removed this insulator, cleaned it with an upholstery cleaning company, but this left the cabin smelling like cleaning solvent! I insisted that the service dealer replace the insulator -- after a few weeks (darn supply chain issues), the new insulator was installed and no more smell!

Be sure to sniff around the rear seat area at pickup.
Same here had the fuel smell, but took the car home and check engine light came on, not sure if they had to take out the catalytic converter but the invoice said they changed gaskets, on the exhaust, so possible exhaust leak. I should have waited till the new year when I had more time. As it stands I am at the shop waiting to find out the code on the check engine light.
