Just got this from Consumer Reports:

POWER TRAIN
Aug 17, 2023

A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.

Summary:

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023 CR-V Hybrid and Accord Hybrid vehicles. The electronic transmission may have been improperly manufactured, which can result in a loss of drive power.
What should you do:
Dealers will replace the electronic continuously variable transmission (e-CVT), free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 11, 2023. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are NFG and HFF.
For more information:

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID Number: 23V588000

Potential Number of Units Affected: 19

Interesting: "Potential Number of Units Affected: 19"
Something tells me the odds are fairly low that we have more than a couple on here with affected models. Even that might not be the case.

19 in total and of the 19, 100% are affected. Honda knows exactly which ones need to be repaired and between the CRV and the Accord there are only 19 vehicles. I’ll be shocked if any of the less than 19 accord owners are here.

So far my Touring does not show up in the VIN lookup. However, it does fall between the production dates for the cars affected. Hopefully their VIN lookup is current. I’ll keep checking now and then.
