Had a 9th Gen V6L in Brilliant Sporty Blue, but traded it in this year for a used 2019 hybrid in Lunar Silver.

Love the car, but the colour just did not grow on me at all. It felt so plain! So I put it in for a full colour change wrap this week. Looks rather fetching if I may say so myself!

Thought about doing a chrome delete too but decided to keep it in the end.

So, that car is actually silver (but wrapped in blue)?

If you're taking votes - I'd say definitely do the chrome delete.
I've had friends say the same thing - "the chrome's a bit much!" haha. I'm still thinking about it! Chrome delete is a lot cheaper than a full body wrap too.

The Lunar Silver wasn't bad, necessarily, just... bit bland for me.

This is certainly one option for taking care of the problem that Honda just doesn't offer enough color options with the 10th Gen Accord.

Looks good.
thanks! It was only $3k AUD to do it, as opposed to $10k for a full-on paint change.

That's pretty cool. Didn't even think that that was an option. Curious what the chrome around the window and door would've looked like wrapped in the blue too?

looks great, how much did it cost you

He said $3000 Australian Dollars... which is approximately $1900 U.S. dollars.

That's cheaper that I thought. I'd be worried in my climate about how well it would hold up to the yearly swings between 100F and -20F with snow and ice. though.

To the original poster:
I'm also curious how detailed the job was. If you open the doors, hood, and trunk, do you still see silver paint- or did they cover those areas too?

The silver color actually looks better than the color of the wrap  Was there paint work ever done to the silver paint? The driver's door looks as though the color is different hue than the rest of the car -- but it could just be due to lighting.

If you're talking about the silver version, that's the passenger door! Check where the steering wheel is in 2nd pic of the blue version in the OP...

@freakout87 is down under in OZ! :p
