I have never before had a car detailed and I have been driving over 40 years. Maybe it's because I never had a car I enjoy as much as my 8th Gen. :dunno:

Here's a couple of pics, I think next time I'll do the detailing myself.

Please, no ribbing about the pinstiping on the trunk, not my idea, but too hard to remove as it is painted on.

Thanks guys, she's my pride and joy. The only other car that was almost this much fun to drive was my 1971 AMC Hornet 2DR Sedan, 258 CID, 331 rear and three speed on the floor. Installed a rear bar where there was none before.

Just had to ask, did the dealer paint that on there? I wouldn't say it looks bad, but is there anyother pinstripes on the car or just the back?

Yeah, pinstriping on sides too, but that looks clean and matches the lines of the car, too busy on the trunk lid. Painted by dealer.

Thanks CYANiDE, had it done on Woodhaven Blvd, just off Yellowstone. I'll be around tomorrow if you want to see her.

Tomorrow I'm in school till late, but Friday I can pass by and give you back the headlight restorer. I think mine is in need of something more aggressive.

Monday is possibly doable. I'll give you a call over the weekend.

Fit and Finish WOW!

Ksills, WOW! WOW! WOW!, now there is a well finished car – best MOD you can have when your car sparkles. How does it hold up in NYC? I lived in NYC back in 1988-1992, loved it, miss it at times. Regards

Thanks Richard, NYC isn't so bad if you don't park on the street. My wife keeps her 2000 Honda Civic in the street and it takes a real beating.
