projectors on the coupe are stellar in terms of halogen output, imho

I agree that the coupe's projector headlights work really well. But I did kick them up a few ticks to raise the sharp cut off point on hills (which I did with my 03 and 06 as well.) Foglights work well but they don't seem to have as wide a pattern as my 03 and 06 did. Not sure if they need adjusting or the deeply recessed mounting position limits them.

I like my lights but I was still thinking of swapping them out for a higher grade bulb like a sylvania silverstar or something else comparable.

Doubt you will find any noticeable/useful improvement with these overstated hype bulbs that are running on the same 55W power, unless you start going high wattage 75/80/100 bulbs, then you risk overheating the headlight housing as well as the wiring and the realy contacts that switches the power to the headlight.

I even tried the HIR bulbs, I am sure it's brighter, but it's not significant.......

PnP HID is the best bang for the bucks, especially it's been observed the 8th Gen Accord headlight housing works farily well with PnP HID kits, it's more expensive, but you get what you pay for and it will be a significant improvement.

is it me or the headlights seem really weak??
I don't think it's just you IMO. Of all the cars I've owned and driven, the lights on my 07 rank in the middle (towards the bottom side of middle actually.) I'll be installing some high-output driving lights in the location of the stock fog lights soon to compensate for this.

Just for kicks...worst I ever drove (and best) was a 98 e36 M3 sedan. The lows were downright horrible. The high beams were amazing. Go figure.

IMO the headlights are very bright and concentrated beams.
I notice big improvement when lights shine on my garage door. They seem more than adequate for me.

One that say there dim, what type of roads do you drive on, is it in woods with poor lighting ?

Heh, I once drove my 08 Coupe behind a friend's car by accident, and kept following him just for kicks. The next day he told me about some jerk tailgating and HIGHBEAMING him for 5 minutes. LOL. He was a little surprised when I told him that 1) it was me and 2) I wasn't hi-beaming.

Maybe he should have gotten an auto dimming rear view mirror! :lmao:
