Hi everyone. New to this forum and glad to be here. First, I make no claims to being a mechanic nor expert. If I'm guilty of one thing, it's being a DIY (Do it yourselfer).

Now to the issue at hand. I own a 2010 Honda Accord V6 XL-E since 2013. I truly believe it was one of the best vehicle decisions I ever made and am very happy with its performance and longevity.

I've performed several brake jobs on this vehicle and never have encountered the issue about to be explained. Please pardon the ignorance on some of the terminology if incorrect.

I purchased front/rear pads and rotors at my local shop. I suspect I may have bought the ones that were not anti-squeal and thus the cause of the high-pitch squeal after applying the brakes initially each time.

When I change the brakes, I also do fronts/rears and replace the rotors each time. I always grease the pins and inspect the boots while doing so.

I also grease behind the hardware clips so as to prevent squealing.

So, the million dollar question is, why does my vehicle squeal EVERY single time I apply the brakes after every stop? Did I get cheap brakes? Is that the problem? Note, there is no grinding when braking, only squealing. Frankly it's quite embarrassing when driving.

I have never replaced the calipers and know that after time when pushing the pistons back in that the rubber boot sometimes gets twisted and I have to be very careful not to puncture the seal.

At this point I'm drawing straws as to what it is. I really don't want to have to replace brakes that still have plenty of padding.

Any guidance or comments from those who have also experienced this would be most appreciated!

I have the same problem in my 2011. It's the rotor material. I have two sets of pads, and two set of rotors. Both sets of pads make the same squeal when coming to a normal stop on the same set of rotors, but not on the other set of rotors. I think it's just a material issue with the rotor. In my case, the braking is silent when using more than normal brake pressure, also no problem stopping no matter speed or condition. I'm too cheap to swap out rotors again before they wear out, plus I stopped driving that car everyday. Too many cars to take care of, too many expenses across many cars adds up. I just live with it. Plus, it gets other drivers off their phones at the stop light, I'd say that's a plus.

I had a similar issue, I managed to get it to stop by doing a more aggressive bed-in procedure.
That did not work for me on either set of pads. my case was definitely just cheap rotor material.
