Personally, I'm a big fan of sticking with OEM parts in 95% of cases. In the cases that BLUFLSH mentioned (rotors, brake pads, suspension, etc.) yes, I too, go with aftermarket (R1Concepts Premium rotors; Akebono Ceramic pads; Tein suspension that is 100% serviceable; etc.) but especially when it comes to the engine/transmission (spark plugs, oil filters, sensors, etc.) I stick with all OEM. It
is what the car was designed to use, after all

A lot of times, if you do your shopping around correctly, you can find OEM parts for just as cheap, if not cheaper, than the A/M ones.
Check out some authorized Honda dealers that do on-line parts ordering such as
Son's Honda,
Majestic Honda, etc. Be sure to compare overall costs including S/H as sometimes one lists the actual part price cheaper than the other but has higher S/H charges.
