I drive over at least 2 railroad tracks a day and over many potholes on my commute to and from work. I do slow down for the railroad tracks unlike some people that fly over them going 50mph.
I do live in the midwest and with all the salt and sand they use here in the winter cars tend to rust quite a bit.

I am looking in the near future to get the rear sway bar replaced with a 17mm TL sway bar and the end links replaced with beefier ones. I have seen a few pictures on the moog end links vs the the factory honda and they are quite a bit thicker. My dad is a retired auto mechanic so replacing them won't be an issue as he can help me with that.

My 2011 currently has only 33k miles on it however I would like this done sometime this year before everything gets rusted and tough to remove.
My experience with the oem honda links have been about 50k miles and they are shot.

How long can I expect these things to last?
I plan on keeping the car for a while

Yes that is a good point although I am mainly wanting to swap both of them out for performance. I will probably have to get my alignment done every couple years also.

I'm with jimijam, they will last as long or longer than the car. I imagine you under-spray after winter.
I do suggest you get a 22mm RSB. I have one from Progress, cost only a few bucks more than the 17" and it does a better job with body roll.

I recently had the front passenger sway bar link break. On my 2003 w/about 100,000 miles. Nothing particular that should have should have caused it like hitting a curb, etc. And I was working on the rear brakes today and the rear sway bar looked so rusted and ratty looking that I have to wonder it it could break in the near future, even as thick as it is.

Get the 20mm rear sway off a tl awd. You can sometimes find them at junkyards. And as stated above they last just about forever so miles/wear isn't a concern.
