2004 EX-L 4-banga with 54K miles. I owe right at $10K. I priced used 2004s and they are anywhere from $14K in alright condition to $17K in great shape with low miles. I think Im .

What about you? :dunno:

I haven't bought one yet, but I drive so much per year (36K-40K miles) that I think the Accord would be the only car that might not lose its value to a point that I'd be upside down on a 5 year loan making just the minimum payments each time. Gimme a Ford and I'd lose 15 grand in the first 2 years I bet.

Both my babies are lien free!

a lot of wealthy folks buy accords. Ferraris don't make great daily drivers ya know.

Then again, I know some poor folks that buy fully loaded EX-L V6s too (the kind that pay sticker without even trying to negotiate too)

chin up lebomb!

This will make you feel better! I've had my car for one year and have made exactly 12 payments. I still owe $15k. :screwy:

None of the above. About mid 2006 it appeared I was going to be forced into personal bankruptcy by early '07. I decided to redeem some US savings bonds I had for decades and pay off the car.......You CAN NOT get my car!
Since then things turned and went in a better direction I'm very glad to say.

Paid my 04' EX-L sedan off in 9 months after purchasing it new. :jumping:

I actually miss the monthly bills I used to get from AHFC. For example, I paid the monthly $175 fees by writing checks out for $600-$1000 and frequently used my online AHFC account to keep track of the goal to earn the title!!

Man, I miss those days but having the title is so sweet!

Don't worry, there is someone out there who put no money down and has only made two payments so far (me) I owe 20K

Plunk10, you can say that again!

$0

We traded in the '02 after driving it for almost 2 years on the '03. (I got a great trade in value, drove it for almost free!! Also got a decent deal on the '03) We financed the balance at 2.9% & paid it off in 15 months instead of the 60 the loan was for.

We aren't wealthy nor wise..... just got determined. I hate car payments!!

I paid cash.....but....I am making payments to myself as I want to be able to pay cash again....
