How do I reset it on my 2016 with Honda Sense?

I youtubed resetting the MM and they reset with the push button in the instrument panel cluster. That does not do it for me. I have sense and use buttons on my steering wheel to scroll through settings on the panel. I tried using the buttons on the wheel and the sel/reset button only to reset my trip A mileage.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Misplaced your owners manual?

Seems to me milder than you deserved. After all you came right out and said...well, think about how what you said could be viewed by other members and ask yourself why should they go out of their way to help someone who appears too lazy to refer to his OM. Just think of all the useful things you could learn in your OM!
Do you feel better now?

Relieve your stress with some Internet forum snark and move on. Hope it helped.

I looked over the OM when I purchased my car a year ago. I looked (read) through the majority of it as well. I took my car to the dealer for oil changes while under warranty, and now am doing maintenance myself. I did not think this would have been in there, and will look when I get time to do so between work and family ordeals.

I know also that auto manufacturers abbreviate and limit information they put in these manuals. Therefor, my logic to not think to look in it.

As I mentioned, I tried to search for a few different strings to get the info without asking directly and could not see the answer. Also, YT only gave procedures for cars without the Honda Sense.

Your post and picture is taken as humor and to let me know that there is very good reading in the OM.

One final word from me. I was deliberately not trying to help you because you wrote that you didn't want to LOOK in your owner's manual (your words), not that you COULDN'T FIND IT there. BTW, an elementary knowledge of how to use the index in the back of the OM would be helpful. "Maintenance Minder" is an index entry in my OM and it has the procedure to reset it. If your OM doesn't have it you should ask Honda for a more complete one.

Where did I say that I didn't want to look in the manual? You are LYING ! Please show all of us where I said anything of the such that I didn't want to look in the OM. I did no edits and you even quoted me.

I have now discovered what happened, through salcuta... Someone has tried to be funny but only created an issue. Someone added the "don't want to look in owners manual" to the header of my thread. I don't even have an ability to edit or do anything to it.

What is going on that some jerk off wants to do this crap?

"Don't want to look in owners manual"

Why not? That's where the info is. Actually, you can learn a lot from it. I was surprised myself.

You are jumping on a bandwagon that will take you to nowhere. Where do you see that I did not want to look in the OM ?

Thank you for your help, understanding of my request and your support !

Gents, it's all OK. Let's laugh a little.

I have a 7th Gen so controls are simple. These 9th Gens are not easy.

You have time to scroll through facebook while sitting on the toilet, then you have time to read the owner's manual. Maintenance Minder light reset is always in there, since 7th gen Accord. It probably took you more time to login and make a post here.

So, I see what has caused all the problems here. Someone added the "don't want to look in owners manual" in my thread header.

I did not put it there when I created the thread. Now look at what they caused. Others to think I am some lazy jerk that blatantly will not look for something. And cause me to think others are lying and jerks to say things I knew were not true.

This NEEDS to be fixed.
