I don't drive our new 2018 2.0 Touring much so I'm not sure when HUD stopped working for me. I have no display when using Driver 2 key. Wife does when she uses Driver 1 key. I cannot find anything in the manual about this. What am I missing?
So what you're saying is...you DO get the display when you use the car with her key, but not when you're using YOUR key??I don't drive our new 2018 2.0 Touring much so I'm not sure when HUD stopped working for me. Why would your dealer not answer their phone?I have tried adjusting the settings for fob 2 and the brightness/on/off switches. Still not working. I going to take it in (if the dealer will return my calls).
I just checked mine. Yes, the settings change with fob 1/2. So, before you call, have you tried adjusting the height of the display up and down? It can actually adjust beyond its ability to display. So yours might be adjusted beyond range, while hers isn't.I have tried adjusting the settings for fob 2 and the brightness/on/off switches. Still not working. I second the above and would like to correct my earlier info about the switch with the up & down arrows beside the HUD switch on the lower dash. Those arrows adjust the height - not brightness - of the HUD display.I just checked mine. Yes, the settings change with fob 1/2. The dealer's phone was answered by the woman who's job it is to route the call to the correct person. She sent me to a voice mail line which is not monitored. I called again after 24 hours and got her to send me to a "direct line" for service. Again, voice mail but they did call me back later yesterday. I have an appointment for Monday. Why would your dealer not answer their phone?
In the meantime, simply disconnect the negative battery cable for 10 secs. Your HUD should reappear. The dealer's phone was answered by the woman who's job it is to route the call to the correct person. She sent me to a voice mail line which is not monitored. Thanks to all for the helpful suggestions. I have tried all the adjustments for height and brightness without any luck.
The problem is only with fob 2. Both of us have the same results with both fobs. I'll let you know what they find.

That has been the earlier solution for disappearing HUDs. Do a search and you'll find plenty of posts about it.
