I like the chrome as well, but I too have an ASM. It might just be the only color that the chrome actually looks right. :naughty:

I love the chrome. I had so called "shadowline trim" on my 750Li and every time I saw a 7 series without it and with chrome, I lamented not having it. I also had the beige interior which I liked but I loved the peanut butter leather with matte wood. Not complaining, I got it CPO at a great price.

Back on point, I don't like black trim on any car or any color. I even like the chrome that runs below the rear bumper.

I'm with you. I think the chrome trim enhances the look of the car. I love the red and the contrast of the reflective nature of chrome. Red with black accents does't look as good nor as classy as the chrome. That's my opinion and I am sticking with it

The chrome looks good but all depends... For example I think the door handles and front grill should be color matched.

For my car I'm getting the window trim vinyl wrapped in glossy black and all other chrome is going to be color matched to my black sedan. My future plans is to peel the window trim back to chrome in the future when I get wheels to give accent but on stocks I want all black no chrome.

Now plasti dip is ok, just people are over using it and it makes the pieces painted when there big in size look cheesy in person but alright in pictures.

I love the chrome on my coupe. For some pieces. The car looks right to me with chrome door/window trim, front H logo and door handles. And certainly not chrome but polished wheels. PD on these parts (and paint) looks like crap.

But the back H, and both chrome trim pieces on the lower bumpers need to be blacked out somehow; either vinyl, paint or PD - all of them get the job done, PD is the easiest to accomplish this.

Naturally, just my opin on my car.

I also like the chrome, but then again I'm an old guy. Chrome trim looks timeless and elegant to me. Black trim looks 1990's and cheap.
You got that right! Black trim is so 80's Civic DX:thumbsdow. I hate it. Chrome trim is like fine jewelry on a beautiful woman. It enhances adds elegance and class. Black trim is just plain chintzy looking. Chrome on a black car is like a fine diamond necklace on a woman in a black dress, It draws the eye to all the right places. As you said "timeless and elegant". But elegance has no place for a "boy racer".

:D--> I wish they would just, not, put Chrome on to begin with...Most Dream cars don't wear Tons of Chrome-->Have a Peek!<--
