Seems like a lot of the same content:dunno::dunno:

EX had 6 disc cd changer and sunroof and maybe fake brush alum trim
SE had normal 1 disc player and no sunroof and maybe fake carbon fiber trim.

The SE Sedan was the best value Accord made at that time. IMHO

The Certified Used Library is a good place to find this info.

http://automobiles.honda.com/certified-used/model-library.aspx

SE's had a 6CD Changer.

Special Edition
"The Accord Special Edition Sedan shares the same 166-hp, 2.4-liter i-VTEC® 4-cylinder engine as the LX, but adds a 6-disc in-dash CD changer, 16-inch alloy wheels, 4-wheel disc brakes and Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD)."

EX
"For those who want an extra level of refinement and comfort, there is the Accord EX Sedan. Enjoy premium interior accents, heated side mirrors, a security system, 4-wheel disc brakes with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) and a power moonroof with tilt feature."

SE V-6
"The Accord SE V-6 Sedan has a 244-hp V-6 engine, a 5-speed automatic transmission and Vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSA®) with traction control, making it an outstanding combination of performance, comfort and convenience."

I owned a 2006 SE before my current Accord, so this thread is particularly relevant to me. Accordlover's post is accurate. The SE had the carbon fiber interior trim, and the EX comes with the silver color. All window switches are illuminated in the EX as well as the lock and side mirror buttons. The driver's seat is still adjusted manually, but the height adjustment is power. There is also the addition of lumbar support for the driver's seat. The EX has upgraded cloth seats as well as ambient console lighting. Because of this feature, I was able to purchase the homelink module for the EX V6 and hardwire it in. That feature is what I'm appreciating the most about the upgrade to the EX trim. That's all I can think of for now. Yes, both the SE and EX have 6 disc in-dash CD changers. I agree that the SE was the best value.

In addition to the above points, my EX-L has heated seats, power driver and passenger seat adjustments, separate driver & passenger zones for the digital climate control, and built-in XM radio. I don't know how much of this is specific to the Leather option, or the V6.

I know a friend with the SE V6 has the sunroof and the 17" wheels, but lacks the other stuff listed above.

All of those features are included only with the EX-L and EX V6 trims, with the exception of the power passenger seat, which is exclusive to the EX V6.

You'd better double check your friend's car, because if it has a moonroof, it's not a SE V6. The LX V6, which is a higher trim, did have the moonroof. All V6 trims had the same stock 17" wheels with the exception of the EX V6 6MT.

I have an 07' SE 4 cylinder on the lot right now with only a single disc cd player.
I don't know what this car on your lot has going on, but the '07 Accord SE came with a stock 6-Disc CD Changer. If you're certain that your car has a single disc, then it has to be a LX or VP trim. That or it's not the stock stereo. Here's a picture of my '06 SE. Is this what the stereo looks like in your car?

Yes the SE has a stock 6 CD change into the dash. It was my understanding that no SE had a moonroof either, one the things that annoys me the most; I wish I had a moonroof in my SE. Everything else listed above is 100% accurate and that is what I was told by the dealer as the major differences.

Basically the EX gives you the ability to add everything you want (Navi, XM, heated and power everything).

Also I was under the impression the LX was the model below the SE. Like the grades went VP, LX, SE, EX, EX-L. When I was shopping for my car the LX had less features than the SE and seemed to be slightly cheaper as well.

It became a bit confusing in 2007 when Honda added the SE trim to the V6 because it was lower than the LX in the V6 line, but above the LX in the I4 line. The I4 progression goes like this: VP, LX, SE, EX, EX-L, EX-L w/ navi
And the V6 models: SE, LX, EX, EX w/ navi

Basically the EX gives you the ability to add everything you want (Navi, XM, heated and power everything).
I guess I'm not sure what you mean by this. I have none of these factory features nor the ability to add them if I choose. If you were to buy an EX-L, you could choose that or the EX-L w/ navi. Either way I think you get 3 or 6 free months subscription to XM radio. You could choose to purchase a subscription after that. If you're talking about after-market Navi or XM, than it's just as easy for an SE owner to add those accessories as it is for an EX owner. The heated and power features in the EX or EX-L aren't options that you can add. If you get that trim, that's what you got.

Maybe it got swapped out at the dealer..........I have heard of cannibalization before with regards to trade-ins............:thumbsdow

You are correct - my friend has the LX V6. My bad - I apologize. I'll just go back to my cave now.....:paranoid:
