Has anyone tried getting the Accord Touring Side mirrors with the led blinkers and installing them on a sport trim?
I have the sport trim and I was really considering getting some but I wanted to know how hard it would be to swap them out as far as if it will be plug and play without having to remove the door panel and not having to do any additional wiring , if anyone has any experience with this let me know

I've been thinking about this too and got a parts quote from the dealer on both mirrors. My only thing is that the touring comes with heated mirrors if I'm not mistaken. The sport doesn't come with the button for heated mirrors. The harness is the same for both models, so in theory, it should be plug and play.

Also another thing I've been thinking about doing is adding the trunk lights from the touring to my sport. In the touring they have LED lights in the top red portion, whereas in the sport, it's just blank and have no function. Also there is a sub harness that needs to be ordered with them.

Yeah man all those things sound interesting and tempting to do, especially those side mirrors , I do believe they are heated but I wouldn’t have a problem if I can’t control that, the main one would just be those side blinkers. As long as those work I will be happy , I’ve seen some videos of some cars only needing to remove the little piece where the tweeters are at and then just unbolting the mirror and plugging in the harness so I’m hoping it’s as simple as that with our 10th gens

DO you have the Sport 2.0? I believe the mirrors are heated on that trim.

I have the 1.5 Sport, I’ve been really considering getting those touring sidemirrors with the turn signals on them but it’s all depending on how much work you have to do. I would hate to take off the door panel becuse I know that sometimes when you do that there’s rattles and noises coming from there afterward

Has anyone installed heated side mirrors on the 1.5T? I would hate to have to go through the ordeal of having my side mirrors freeze all winter like they did last year.

The mirror cap P/N in our colour:

Thanks! You wouldn’t happen to know if it’s a plugnPlay type of thing?

Unfortunately the sport trim doesn’t have the blu or brown wire for the turn signal from the bcm to the 18p connector for the mirror. However that’s all that is missing for the turn signals in the mirrors to work, so from pin 16 off the bcm, splice a wire from 16 to cavity 9 on the 18p connector for the left side and 15 to cavity 9 on the 18p connector on the right.

I actually inquired College Hills about this back in July and this was their responses to me

The biggest issue would be the wiring, in past years/models the wiring harnesses on the lower trim levels did not have the wiring to hook up the signal in the mirror. The parts you have listed will get you the signals, but I don't think the connection would be there without swapping the harnesses.

** I asked something about the harness **

I believe you would need to replace both the door harnesses and the entire instrument panel harness, also no guarantee the computer would have that capability.

We hope this response has sufficiently answered your questions. If not, please do not open a new ticket. Instead, login to your account for a complete archive of all your support request and responses.

Yet another thing that the Canadian sport 2.0t model has that the US models didn't get... I am finding there are a lot of discrepancies going in Canada's favour for once
Just like the Touring taillights which I had to install myself on my Sport trim. Now I'm uber cool like you guys up north!
