On the set I bought from Diode Dynamics ;

When you open the door, they turn on (map/dome/door) ... Map/Dome for sure because that's how I've got the toggle switch set on both overheads.

Once the door is closed, the lights will go OFF once they time out ... then once the key is in the ignition and turned, I believe they turn ON for a breif moment and then go back OFF.

With the key in ACC, I believe they do come on ... but they do turn OFF once the car is started and running, and will only turn back on if you hit the button or open a door.

OP, do they turn completely off when the switch is on and they time out? Mine are dim if the switch is off, but I always leave it on so there is only completely lit or completely off, no in-between.

Bobbo, I don't know what they did to those Canadian Accords, but mine does nothing like yours does in terms of turning on the ignition and key in ACC. :dunno:

Well maybe I'm just day drinking again ... or maybe they're still on from the door being open ... *facepalm - I need another coffee, and maple syrup ...

IIRC, the LED's will always have some power to them unless you've installed a relay that can lower the power amount going to the LED's. Although, the only relay I have installed in my car right now is inside my turn signal relay to prevent hyper flashing, I do NOT have this issue with my LED's. Mine is just like CM6's where it's just completely on, or completely off.

I have the same this going on with my dome light. At times it does go completely off, other times it has a slight dim to it. I have just learned to ignore it haha:nuts:
