I just completed installation of red footwell leds and exled white dome/map lights. Just wanted to share some before and after pics.

Footwell:
This one was hard to take a picture of. Looks MUCH better in person. Ignore the amber street lights on the passenger seats. They are Alpena brand Flex LED from autozone. About 20-ish bucks for the LED + Add-a-circuit. Much cheaper and brighter than that 90$ "Genuine Honda LED kit". Kudos to WSport13 for writing up this how-to! http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/showthread.php?t=79891

exLEDInterior Map/dome:
Holy smokes. I was hesitant at first because of the price but let me say IT IS WORTH IT! :notworthy It just makes the car look so much more luxurious! It's SOOOO WHITE! Customer service from Jin was excellent. I didn't want to buy the whole package so I emailed him and he invoiced me on individual parts. I only bought the map lights, dome light, license plate lights.

I was able to do this because of all the information from the users on this forum. Thank you!

Good job. The footwell lighting looks a bit bright/distracting though.
It looks pretty much like mine which is perfectly acceptable at night IMO. It's just enough light to see items on the floor if you drop something, but not bright enough to in any way visually distract you from the road at night.

Great job! Those are some serious LED map lights!

Wait, the footwell lights stay on all the time at night? Not just with the dome lights?

The exLED kit fantastic. It is very bright. I have mine at full power right now, but may turn them down a little. It's blinding at night.

It is tapped into the parking lights fuse. When the auto headlights turn on then the footwell leds turn on. When I'm driving I can see the red lights in my periphery, but it's not enough to distract me. My eyes are on the road. If you look directly at the footwell then yes it is very red. It goes really well with the rest of the red gauges and touch screen controls etc.

BTW it was the smaller 8 inch led strips. They also had the 12 inch led strip. Now those may be too bright.

Those exLED map/dome lights are a must buy!

I forgot the camera also likely overexposed, making it look brighter than it actually is.

Very nice! Would you mind if I asked the price of the individual exled's? Do yours also have dimming capability? I have read they are dim-able, but I cant tell how that is done.

I have the footwell lights, got the dealer to give them to me for free at last minute. However my footwell lighting is very dark. Wish i could make it brighter like i had on my acura tl type s.
I believe other with the same lighting kit are removing some type of cover that goes around the LED, thus exposing more light.

Yes, I just put put both positive(black wire with white stripe)into the add-a-circuit. If you are using these for the first time, make sure you put a fuse into both add-a-circuit's fuse slots. One for original fuse and one for your footwell lights. When you look at it you will know what I mean.

Ok so i have the oem footwell lighting solution on my coupe and there was indeed a blue plastic housing over the bulb. I removed the undershield/guard that covered up all the wiring in the footwells (very easy to do, just lightly pull) and i noticed that the blue plastic housing that caused the red lights to be dimmer also served as a mounting bracket to keep the led sturdy. I at first was going to drill a hole through the blue plastic to expose the light better but instead removed the blue housing/brack altogether. This allowed me to expose more red light and keep it more flush against the undershield.

End result: The red light is brighter and lights up the wheel wells more peripherally. It is definitely brighter than what my tl type s had stock but not obnoxious. Can't wait to get the red hfp floor mats to go with it!
