Ok, I just got my ANZO smoked LED tail lights and installed them last night with NO problems on my Nighthawk Black Honda Accord 4-door EX-L V6. You want to class up your ride? This is the way to go!!!
Yes, you have to remove your bumper cover, which isn't as scary as it sounds boys and girls. And if you have a nice dealership (Goodson Honda North in Houston, TX), they can help! They provided me with printed out, detailed instructions on how to remove the bumper and how to remove the existing tail light.
If you plan on getting these for your ride, I do suggest the smoked over the clear red. On aftermarket LED tail lights that are clear red, the red has been fading to pink (at least the ones I've seen driving down the road)... not the cool look you're going for. I have a few pics, although taken with my camera phone, so they aren't that great, but will post more when I take pictures with my digi camera!

Honestly, and this is just my opinion, my Accord now looks more like an Acura, it may be a stretch for some, but not for me! :)
And at night, the car is a stunner!
Now for the 18" chrome wheel upgrade and I'll be done! Unless they come out with a BETTER aftermarket projector headlight for the 08 Accord 4-door, to me it looks cheap.
If you got any questions, give me a hollar.

Enjoy!

Michael

has anyone does this on their coupes?
Yes, but the coupe tail lights are not that great looking. Do a search and you will find more info. These tail lights are well made and look tons better than the factory lights. They are spendy but they are worth it. I bought my set at the end of the year with Microsoft cashback for under $200.

as far as after market mass produced LED tail lights go, those are not bad. Not entirely hooked on the bars on the side marker, but a huge improvement on the crap those types of housings usually look like.
The bars look great at night and make the tail lights look more "highend".

Any instructions that are needed to do the swap are posted in the 2008 Accord instructions sub forum on this site. No need to go to the dealer.

No problems for me and I have been running them for about seven months. I don't think you will see any color fading on these tail lights. The only drawback with the smoked tail lights is they won't be mistaken for OEM tail lights.

i saw blackout led's for coupes on ebay but they had 2 silver bars going across the light and they would have looked crappy for my PMM. They might look good on a silver car but overall i think the 2 silver bars going across killed it.

I have only seen the Red with Chrome strips version for the coupe on ebay. I've never seen a smoked version. I emailed the ebay seller several months ago and they said a version without chrome strips was coming out soon but I still haven't sen anything. Can't wait for some nice ones to come out!

booo i need something for the coupe ...looks good though

Cost was $286 on ebay

Cost was $286 if I recall correctly on Ebay... gotta love Ebay! They have the smoke and the clear red on Ebay and the seller got the lights to me when they promised.

I was thinking about getting these but for an extra $250-$300, I might as well go for the Inspire lower trunk kit since i'm half way there. But the LED tail lights are very nice looking!

That is the cost of them and they are worth every penny. Use Microsoft cashback to get a little cashback. I was lucky when I bought mine. The Microsoft cashback was between 20% and 30% cashback so when it was all said and done I payed a little under $200.
