I have a 2017 Honda Accord Sport Special edition. Both the driver's side fog light and driver's side headlight assembly LED strip are burnt out. the current headlight assembly is an aftermarket part, installed due to an accident I was in last year.

Possible causes for both lights on the same side being burnt out aside from bulbs? Wiring Harness? Blown fuses? All other interior and exterior lights on the car function properly.

Appreciate any info and insight. Thanks!

That LED strip in the headlight is called a DRL. It is unlikely that both fuses would blow at the same time, but that is always your first look for electrical problems. Use your manual to locate and check the fuses. The DRL fuse is on the inside panel and the Fog light fuses are on the engine panel.

Since both DRLs are on one circuit, it probably isn't the fuse for your case. It is most likely the strip itself, which contains two parallels LEDs (they can go out one at a time).

The OEM headlights have a TSB out to extend the warranty of the headlight's DRL to 10 years because they came from the factory faulty and usually burn out between 15-40k miles. The OEM headlights do not have accessible bulbs for the DRL and require you to replace the entire assembly.

If your headlight is an aftermarket part, you obviously can't claim the warranty. If your aftermarket assembly is made exactly like the OEM ones, you will have to replace the entire assembly.
