I'm in the middle of a Lemon Law Suit and it will come to end very soon, I was looking to get the Accord V6.

I have a dealer quoting me 26,990 with Doc & Destination fees.

Is this a good deal or does this seem too good to be true?

Thanks for your input.

If EXL-V6, that's a good price

Awesome! Hopefully they are willing to match that deal when I get my $ back from GM.

Maybe I should ask this, I recently purchased 2013 Chevy Cruze. Had it out of service for 45+ days.

The Cruze has been known to have a lot of issues with Coolant Smells and other issues.

Does the Honda Accord EX-L V6 have any issues I should be aware of before purchasing?

Excessive torque. It's terrible. Honda should be ashamed!

Is that for the Sedan? If so....I would say that's a great price.

When I bought mine; I was told "holdback" was $660 or there-a-bouts. I bought at invoice minus that....which is still a few hundred more than what you're being offered.

Is that a simple cash deal? No trade? No Lease? No financing? No "dealer added accessories" that are gonna be tacked on?

Of course; as the year marches on...the "enhancements" from the factory keep getting sweeter.

Sounds like a good price.

Why was the Cruze out of service? Was it safety/drivetrain related issues, or minor nuisance complaints?

The 2013 Honda Accord is a new model/generation. It's had a few bugs and nuisance issues, depending how anal you are. So far no engine/trans replacements or anything like that, just some oil leaks, interior rattles or panel misalignment, NVH complaints, etc.

I plan to do 10K down and finance from them or my local bank. I would need to pay for any dealer added accessories but that's not too expansive.

My Cruze has a lot of serious issues. Front windshield replaced twice, rear replaced once, water pump replaced, transmission ECU replaced, keyless entry control module replaced and other smaller defects.

Is Honda doing anything about the oil leaks and rattles?

Just beware - they priced me at 28K over the phone/email - when I got there the "supplemental sticker" said 34K because of all the add-ons.

After some dealing I got it for $27.7 WITH all the dealer added BS.

Your 27K would be a great deal.

Oh wow! I'll keep you guys posted with the price, hopefully I can get them down enough. If not looks like I'll be looking into another car or drop down to the smaller engine.

Hey Hondaguy. The v6 has vcm which causes vibration when cruising. Some describe it as a rumble strip. I was horrified at first but I'm now just dealing with it. Dealer says its normal. Lol

The tranny has lots of engine breaking. Do a good test drive with special attention to the tranny

There were some bugs in the multi media. Dealer updated and now it's good to go.

In closing, the exl v6 is an all around solid car. Despite its issues I'm happy with my purchase.

I've read about the VCM vibration/shudder at high cruising speeds, but I've never actually had this problem before. Weird. I have the somewhat-annoying harsh-downshift around 40mph issues, but never any issues with VCM.

H0ndaGuy, if possible, get the V6, you'll absolutely love it. 287 horsepower is not a small number. It's wonderful having that kind of power when you need it. Leather, lanewatch camera, the gorgeous LED DRL's, and a bunch of other features make it worth it.

Well you have a Cruze now so the 4cyl Accord would be way more powerful than that. The CVT is a pain in the butt to some, but I haven't had any issues yet.

I have a V6 Coupe Auto. I have not experienced any shudder yet. Car is smooth as silk and I just took it for a four hour highway trip put eco on set the cruise at 70 and got 37.8 mpg which was crazy. Again the car was totally smooth at all speeds never felt even a hint of any shudder. My car only has 500 miles on it perhaps its something that develops?

Awesome! I hope to get a good deal on the car, hopefully everything goes as planned price wise. I'm sure once I'm there with 10k in cash and willing to buy they might get antsy to sell.

That is a good price.I just paid $27,942 for my EX-L V6.

I've had no problems with the VCM. As a matter of fact, I haven't had any of the problems that some describe here. My car has been an absolute joy to drive since I bought it. It is less than two weeks old and problems may develope later on. I hope not. As of right now I'm pretty happy with it.
