Love my 06 accord but it does have enough leg room for me....is there another way to put the seat back more then it already is? Sorry for the stupid question, had it for 2 years and been driving more lately and it's getting to be a pain!

Sorry for being so matter of fact, but if I test drove a car and it did not have enough leg room, I would of kept on shopping.

If the seat is all the way back and you still do not have enough leg room, the only option is some sort of customization such as relocating the seat rail if you intend on keeping the car.

I did...and I thought I just need to get used to it, being that I just came out of a caprice classic.

wow, how tall are you man?
accord for me is such a big car, plenty of room in the front and in the back as well.

you must be big. wondering if you driving a civic, or Honda Jazz/Fit. lol.

Well like 228lb and 6'1 bare foot. I want to love this car, but the longer I drive it the worse I feel in the seat.

My 06 has an adjustable lumbar support that you might have. I'm 6'5", and I fit pretty well in my accord. Not as much room as my chevy silverado, but still enough. I even have enough room in my Wife's Honda Fit, but the cup holder always rub my right leg below my knee.

:worthless

IDK.....my foot get stuck on the side of the gas peddle just don't have the room I want. :dunno: Always had chevy caprices....I guess I'm use to driving those.

Do you guys have small feet....my sneakers are a 14.

He must be the type that has to have his knees completely straight to feel comfortable. :dunno:

im 6'4, 240lbs and the leg room is okay for me. my seat is all the way back and all the way down. (i have an LX, so i just pump the lever all the way down to the floor.) the only problem im having is that i have pretty fat thighs so my right thigh hits the steering wheel sometimes when im braking.

maybe its your seating position.

OP,

i have had my car for over 6 months, and never did i have an issue with knee or leg room.... is the steering wheel adjusted upward and towards/away from you enough? seat all the way back and as low as it can go?

i'm 6ft 4.5in, and i have had no problem with leg/knee room. occasional leg aches during longer drives tho.

I'm 6 foot even, and sometimes I would like to go back a little farther with the seat, so I know what you mean. I have found that tilting the seat cusion back helps, but I don't know if your car's seat tilts.
