Hey guys, it's crossed my mind latey to remove the "Accord" badge on the trunk of my '07 silver sedan. While I'm at it.... I bought the car used so I'm not sure if I'm missing any badges to begin with. I only have the "H" and the "Accord" on the trunk. No EX, nothing else... stock? Am I missing anything? I don't mind the "H" under the 3rd brake light, but the Accord on the driver side of the trunk is a bit un-clean. Opinions?

I just debadged mine and liked the look but check to see if your bumper's been repainted (not likely on an '07) because mine had been repainted and they didn't remove the badges before doing so so when I debadged the area around the badge had excess paint that couldn't be buffed/sanded without removing the clear coat. A good way to check is look around the badge and see if there's overspray. Otherwise there shouldn't be any other badges besides what the dealer put on unless you have a V6 (would be located under the "Accord" badge). These may be helpful:

Ok, so from the factory on the rear I should have the "H" and "Accord" only being I have a I4 EX, correct? Doesn't look like it's been painted. Car fax showed clean too. Removing badges is easy, if you want to replace them it's expensive and time consuming. That stupid accord badge is the only un-clean thing on the rear of my car. Really looks kind of... um... mid 90's if you will. But I always said debading was a "ricer" mod. Swore I'd never do it... But back then I had totally different cars.

If I didn't have the problem with the clear coat this mod would have looked really nice. The nice thing about debadging is: if you don't like it without the badge you can just put it back on but I think it makes the car look much cleaner and nicer. Now I'm in the process of painting the badge so I can put it back on and cover the paint problem so I'm hoping to get that done this weekend. I'll post pics in the "warning" thread I started so peeps can check it out.

I posted your thread in the second post

Hellz YES!

Debadge FTW!

I left the badges.............dont see what the big deal is with it personally.

I spent an hour taking my badges off (except for the giant H, which I still like). I think it looks much cleaner. There was some 'ghosting' around the badges, but I took care of that with a clay bar, a good cleaning, and a nice coat of wax and polish.
The pisser was that after I spent all that time taking them off, I thought it would make it a subtly unique. The next day, I went to get a haircut and parked next to another Accord. Then I saw that he had done the same thing. Bummer!
Still, it looks really good IMO.
