It's a VERY cheap snap on and off piece. I'm shocked. It's super easy to come off and you can see that it is. I just never paid attention. Anyone else? I paid 40k for this cheap part. I'm pretty pissed at c the quality on his hybrid accord touring

Why the hell would you pay 40k for a seat lever- that just stupid.
If you paid that much for the lever- how much did the whole car cost?

Really, did your passenger go "Mighty Joe Young" on this button? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: What does it take to move the button back and forth? They aren't meant to be man handled. I'd take the repair cost up with the passenger. We had another case where the vent directional knob was broken off. How do people do these kinds of things?

What exactly did your passenger do? I've adjusted the passenger seat literally dozens of times to make room for 8 foot pieces of lumber. The switches are still in place.

The parts are available on dreamshop for about $10. Good luck.

My passenger literally touched it and it fell off. You can also see the prongs after putting back. I'm glad you guys are OK with mediocre. I work hard for my money and for 40k I expect quality. Not a snap on piece that comes off when touched. But perhaps some of you don't know what quality is...

Actually most of us just know how things work and don't have uninformed expectations.

On any new vehicle there is a chance that something like this could happen. Assuming it was handled normally, it is a manufacturers defect. Take it to the dealer and they will fix it for free. They will be able to tell if it was defective.

By looking at images, I would suggest someone "pushed down or pulled up" on the lever, thinking it would adjust height. Seat didn't move so maybe more force applied trying to get it to adjust. Just a thought!

Most cars use same mounting method. It is not a simple item to break. Bashing the whole car for this part breaking off is a bit over the top, sorry, just MHO
