Fluid in reservoir is at "upper level". I drive my 2001 4cyl. about 20 miles. Steers fine. No whining or anything unusual. Outside temp. maybe 60 degrees. While the car is still running I check: 1. Place hand on pump (can only leave hand on pump maybe 2 seconds) 2. Fluid is now risen to slightly above dark gray "cap" and seeping out between gray and translucent seam. 3. Noticeable swirl to the fluid when removing red cap. 4. Outer temperature of reservoir is on the warm side but not hot. There is no bubbling of fluid. Since I haven't another Accord to compare it too I am asking what is your results under these conditions?

You have filled the reservoir with too much fluid. Owners Manual says to check the fluid when engine is cold. Fill it to lower line, as it expands when hot.

You do not have a problem.

Can't say much about the i4, but the v6 has a tube that goes down in front of the radiator for cooling down the PS fluid.

But if you're getting bubbling up of PS fluid, it's typically an indication of air getting into the system somewhere.
