I have a 2006 Accord with the 2.4. Engine went out and I ordered replacement engine from JDM Engine Depot. They have been totally unresponsive to my attempt at communication. I had to swap my old intake manifold and throttle body over since the JDM Engine had cable operate throttle body and mine was electronic. Got the engine up and running and now the power steering pump that came with the JDM engine is going out and my old pump from the other engine will not fit. This JDM engine is apparently not even from an Accord, as I have tried newer and older ps pumps and they will not fit or line up with the belt. The pump on the JDM engine that is going out has a number on it that I'm hoping someone here can help me cross reference. RFE 079294D. I've tried Google searching it, but haven't had any luck. Your help is MUCH appreciated.

Those jersey guys sell honda odyssey motors and call them JDM just because they have 3 lobe cams. They told me i was getting a k24a2 and shipped me a k24a from a van. I hope they enjoyed paying the return shipping.

Curious if you even got a k24a4 or a k24a.

@Andy1 - Can you find/post a part number or serial number stamped directly on the replacement engine block so someone might be able to ID it and help you find a compatible pump...?

And maybe file a complaint with the BBB about this company because it sounds like they didn't sell you the right engine, even though they claimed it was what you wanted.

You can find the serial number on a little green tag on the exhaust side of the engine directly in the middle of the bottom block right above the oil pan near the drain plug. Unfortunately Jersey JDM might have actually removed the tag.

Ignignot, thank you for that. I will look tomorrow to see if it's there. I don't remember seeing that tag when I removed the oil pan to inspect inside of it when I received the engine.

Ronch, I'm afraid there was very little "paperwork" received about this engine. I have bought from them once before and had a good experience, but this experience has not been good. View attachment 569301
Oof it says k24a not k24a4. Get that serial number checked. Your ECU might not be running that engine right.

Ive got a k24a4 you can have if you can come get it in Cleveland

I do remember looking up the engine number to determine what year it was and I remember coming up with 2008. However, I can't find where I may have written that number down, and I think I have to take the intake off to get to it, if I'm not mistaken.
- The part # is associated with power steering pumps specifically designed for the Honda Odyssey III models, International Market (RB1 - RB2 chassis, 2.4L- K24A VTEC I4 engine) from 2003 - 2008. Potential OEM part #'s associated with this pump are 56110-RFE-A01 & 56110-RFE-003 (from Google AI, YMMV). The # could be a mfg. internal code or a specific code from a parts supplier. - Google Search & possible this one on ebay - Pardon Our Interruption... & Amazon - Amazon.com: New Power Steering Pump 56110-RFE-A01 Replacement Parts For Honda Odyssey III 03-08 RB1-RB2 : Automotive - Look on Japan Yahoo auctions (our ebay equivalent) or here - Power Steering Pump 56110-RFE-003 56110-RFE-N01 for Honda Odyssey 03-08 RB1-RB2 2.4L
